Duminică, 9 decembrie în Dieceza de Iaşi parohiile în care este prezentă Acţiunea Catolică au reînoit angajamentul în realizarea apostolatului laical. Încurajaţi de asistenţii spirituali copii, tineri şi adulţi au depus sau au reînoit adeziunea exprimând astfel, dorinţa de a fi mărturisitori ai credinţei în comunitate.

Adeziunea este modul în care se exprimă apartenenţa personală la asociaţie. Înseamnă a contribui alături de ceilalţi membrii la realizarea unui proiect care cuprinde obiective comune, este un stil de a ne trăi viaţa de laici în Biserică şi de a mărturisi credinţa creştină, astăzi, în locurile în care ne desfăşurăm activitatea. Ea este actul personal, matur şi exprimat în mod liber în cadrul asociaţiei din care membrul face parte. Adeziunea implică un efort, un angajament care trebuie reînnoit în fiecare zi prin participarea la viaţa de grup, la împlinirea misiunii Acţiunii Catolice sprijinindu-i pe păstori în comunitatea parohială.

În viaţa asociaţiei, depunerea adeziunii înseamnă angajarea oficială a fiecărui membru în faţa Bisericii. Fiecare, prin adeziunea la Acţiunea Catolică, adoptă stilul acesteia şi contribuie la împlinirea misiunii ei în Biserică, devenind în uniune cu ceilalţi membri, colaboratori ai păstorilor Bisericii, coresponsabili de răspândirea Împărăţiei lui Dumnezeu.
